Balance transfer rate applies only to the balance transferred for six months from the date your card is approved, and then reverts to the standard variable rate applicable for purchases on your card. Balances that remain unpaid at the end of this period will become subject to the standard variable rate applicable for purchases on your card. Interest accrues on balance transfers from the date the transfers are processed by us.

Aussie credit cards can be availed of at a very low rate, as low as 11.9% per annum. There can be no interest levied on transfers of balance for a span of 6 months. The cash advances can be got at a rate of 15.99% per annum. The customer can go without interest for around 55 days on purchases. There are also provisions for opting for a loan if the payment on credit card exceeds the actual paying capacity. All what the customer needs to do is compare the rate of his credit card with the loan offered, and compare the card with other cards. After this, the customer is at his liberty to apply for the loan and fulfill the necessary formalities. Benefits: The benefits of an Aussie credit card include saving of 4% of interest in comparison to other Australian credit cards, an immediate response within 1 minute of application, low rate of balance transfer, a yearly ‘Credit Account Fee’ of $49 only, a MasterCard status, no need of being an  Aussie customer, permission to access the account round the clock, and many more.Any person aged 18 or above, a resident of Australia and earning a minimum amount of around $15000/year is eligible to apply for an Aussie credit card. The applicant, after getting the application approved, would be getting a letter that might ask for proof of  identification before they  actually get the card mailed to them at their mailing address. After the reception of identification forms, the card would be sent usually within a span of 3 to 5 working days. If the Aussie credit card application is declined for any reason, the applicant would be informed immediately. Confirmation of identification: The identification form consists of categories such as name, work place, driving license, etc. 40 points are allotted to the present driving license. People generally do not have any problem in submitting the above mentioned documents. Guarantee: Despite of completion of all the formalities, there is no guarantee of the card being issued. The application should satisfy the usual lending criteria of ANZ. The applicant has the provision of applying for an extra card while applying for an Aussie MasterCard. After the reception of this card, 2 additional cards can be applied for. 

Other details: The applicant also has to give a friend or family’s contact number. It helps during emergency. The minimum credit limit required for an Aussie MasterCard is around $1000.
